THE staff of Brunei Press Sdn Bhd yesterday afternoon ushered in the Year of the Horse with a Chinese New Year lunch reception held at Millennium Restaurant in Gadong.
Gracing the special occasion were Albert Lau, CEO of QAF Brunei, and spouse.
Reggie See, General Manager of Brunei Press, greeted the Brunei Press staff and also representatives from QAF’s subsidiaries.
In his speech the general manager said, “The Brunei Press CNY staff lunch is an annual gathering to celebrate the teamwork, synergy, harmony and contributions of our stakeholders, especially the Brunei Press team.”
Explaining Brunei Press’s corporate values, he added, “The Brunei Press’ corporate values of commitment, integrity and trust move the company towards our business goals and corporate social responsibility.
“Currently, Brunei Press has a workforce of more than 250 employees, around 90 per cent of whom are locals.
“Brunei Press has achieved business sus-tainability and created opportunities for employment through prudent investments in human resources development as well as new technology and facilities to enhance quality and effectiveness of our media,” he continued.
“We strive for timely delivery and services for our valued customers,” Reggie See said.
Also attending the celebration yesterday were Hazizah Osman, Deputy General Manager of Brunei Press, as well as other senior management of QAF Brunei and its subsidiaries.
As the most established and largest local printing company in the country, Brunei Press Sdn Bhd reached a milestone last year when it marked the 60th anniversary of its establishment.
